There is so much to do in Philly, you might want to plan a getaway at least a few times a year. When planning where to stay, you’ll want to consider what’s on the agenda. If you’re a first-timer, the obvious choices are the liberty bell and the historic “Rocky” steps. Climb those steps and throw your arms up like a champ and then hunt down a well deserved Philly Cheesesteak.

While you’re there you could spend an entire afternoon walking around Penn’s Landing and Delaware River Waterfront. Make sure to check the calendar of events before planning your getaway. Put City Hall on the to-do list as well, it is an architectural masterpiece and a must-visit.

Coopersburg is also just under two hours from a beach weekend getaway. Let’s not forget the Big Apple!
