Schools and Amenities

So much more than a classroom!

The mission statement of the St. Lucie County School board states:

The mission of the St. Lucie Public Schools is to ensure all students graduate from safe and caring schools, equipped with the knowledge, skills, and desire to succeed.”

This is true on many levels from working for the school district or attending. Whether in the classroom or an after school program, rest assured that the mission statement flows from K-12. There are also magnet and virtual schooling available, so the district fits the needs of all types of learning.

Learning doesn’t start and end in the classroom in St. Lucie County either. The County Aquarium dedicates itself to educating everyone who enters their facility about the diverse biology Florida has to offer. The St. Lucie County Regional History Center is also a must-visit as it explores the rich history of the treasure coast. You’ve got to check out The Navy Seal Museum and you might feel inspired after visiting to sign up for one of their 5k or other events they host throughout the year.
