Founded in 2003 Tradition is located on the west end of Port St. Lucy. The 8,300 acre area includes seven residential neighborhoods, a town square, several parks, lakes and a retail shopping district. The average home price in the area is around $302,000.00 USD making it a reasonable place to purchase property for first time home buyers or investors. The total population of Tradition sits just over 8,500 people and the unemployment rate is at 3.5 making it on par with the national average.

The area is designed with families in mind so take advantage of the great outdoor activities. Parks are a great place to spend a Saturday and due to it’s close proximity to I-95 traveling is a breeze. The area has a public shopping district called The Landing At Tradition. Target, Bed Bath And Beyond, Old Navy and PetSmart all have shops within the area and the local Publix is a great place to get your weekly grocery shopping done. If you are looking for good food check out one of the amazing restaurants located in Tradition as well. We recommend Sake Too Japanese & Thai restaurant. Their sushi is delicious. If you are looking for things to do in Tradition check out the Sailfish Splash water park. It’s a great place to enjoy with the family. Especially in the heat of the summer. Oak Hammock Park is also a great place to bbq or spend the day hiking through the palm groves. Because of the area’s ecosystem there is extremely rich diversity in it’s local plant life. The schools in the area are great for growing families. Palm Point is an extremely great example. Built in collaboration with Florida Atlantic University this charter school specializes in K-8 grades with specialized education in laboratory research. There is also the Renaissance Charter School at Tradition that is available for K-8 students. Both schools enroll students using a lottery based system so be sure to get your application in today!
