The Meadows at Martin Downs in Palm City, FL

One of Palm City’s Gems; The Meadows at Martin Downs

The Meadows at Martin Downs is located in Palm City within Martin County on the Treasure Coast of Florida.  Palm City is known for its scenic beauty, lush greenery, and waterfront views.  One of the main attractions in Palm City is its access to waterways, including the St. Luce River and the Indian River Lagoon.  These waterways offer opportunities for boating, fishing, and other water-based activities.  There are also some terrific parks and nature preserves around Palm City.

The Meadows is an Amenity rich community; all of the separate neighborhoods within The Meadows enjoy the same amenities, with each having a different HOA fee which I will discuss below:

The fee includes manned security, basic cable, high-speed internet. Lawn maintenance, playground, tot lot, community pool, basketball, pickleball, bocce, sidewalks, street lights, tennis, and more.

Two pets are allowed.

Rentals are allowed after owning for 12 months.   The minimum lease is four months, and you can lease once during a calendar year.

Courtyard Quad Villa’s in Sun Terrace

  • Open floor plan
  • 2 bed/2 bath,
  • Large screened patios
  • 1374 square feet
  • Built in 1993
  • Poured concrete construction
  • Some have garden views and hot tubs.
  • Priced Around low to mid $300,000’s.
  • HOA fee $358/month – includes all exterior maintenance – roofs, etc.

Lakemont Village Townhomes

  • Two Story, 2 bed, 2-1/2 bath
  • All bedrooms are on the 2nd floor
  • Built in 1989 – 1992
  • 1374 square feet
  • CBS Construction
  • Great private courtyard to enjoy
  • Priced from about $280,000 to the mid-$300’s depending on remodeling, upgrades and location
  • HOA Fee $458/month – which includes exterior maintenance – roofs, etc.

Ridgewood Village and Foxboro Village

  • Consisting of Patio Homes and Capri Homes
  • Single Family Neighborhoods – all zero lot line homes
  • Single story, 2 bedrooms, 2 bath (two master baths or ensuites)
  • 2 car garages
  • Some may have pools and some are located with a waterview or both
  • Poured Concrete Construction
  • Priced between the low $400,000’s to  mid-$400’s
  • HOA Fee is $477/month – includes exterior maintenance, roofs, etc.

Bedford, Brighton Village, Greenwich Village and Mayflower

  • Single story, 3  bedrooms, 2 bath
  • 2 car garages
  • Poured Concrete Construction
  • Priced from the high $400,000’s to mid $600’s
  • 1563 – 1952 square feet
  • HOA Fee is $350/month – The owner maintains the home’s exterior, roof, etc.  Along with the maintenance of the backyard.  The association takes care of all of the front yards and common areas.

You see there are many great choices, and you could have your entire family in the same community with such a variety.

Around town in Palm City, FL

Palm City has many great restaurants to enjoy and is a 10-minute drive to Historic Downtown Stuart where you can have fun strolling the boutique shops and restaurants along with unique coffee shops and riverfront.   From here its only about 15 minutes to our lovely beaches and the town of Jensen Beach.

With Palm City  situated close to I-95 and the Florida turnpike it makes an easy 30 minute commute to Palm Beach International airport and all Palm Beach has to offer with theater, great shopping and restaurants.  And you would be located 2 hours north to Orlando for an easy visit with the grandkids come to Disney.
